From: Ernest Martinez Today I had a problem with my brakes. I could only make right turns, so I figured the QS-2 valve. I took it apart and found that one side's plunger had a small tear in the rubber shroud (for lack of a better description). So hopefully a rebuild kit exists and I'll order it. But then I got to thinking since I've never opened one of these up before. How does the thing work??? Only being able to make right turns means that my left wheel won't dump air and stays locked. But looking in the QS-2 I couldn't figure out how a torn rubber plunger would keep air from leaving the brake. I looked at the exploded view in the overhaul manual, but to be quite honest, I suck at reading mechanical drawings. I can't distinguish a moving part from the housing. Can someone explain to me how this thing works. Thanks Ernie ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 03:05:19 PM PST US From: "A. The valve/seals for the left side are leaking.Dennis From: Ernest Martinez To: yak-list Sent: Sunday, August 2, 2015 10:18 AM Subject: Yak-List: How does a QS-2 work? From: Ernest Martinez Yes, it is very easy, and I've got a request into Doug. My question still remains however, how does the thing actually work? On Sun, Aug 2, 2015 at 6:03 PM, A.
