Craig, can you explain a little more about your safetywire technique?
I am imagining a couple loops around the nut to allow you to maneuver it into position,
and then trying to start it with the tip of a screwdriver?
Spent 1.5 hrs yesterday and could not get even one started, very frustrating.

I think I recall that open canopy had no restrictions in the original manua
l.
I do open canopy always when doing formation flight and have done lots of a
cro with the canopy opened, all of my takeoffs and crack opened for landing
.
