Both Wifi and Bluetooth are in the same 2.4Ghz band, i.e, a jammer will also overpower a Bluetooth signal. But why on earth do you or anybody else want to use a jammer? I.m.h.o the use of these broad frequency spectrum polluters should be banned. In Europe they are forbiddenluckily! Regards, Hans O. Subject: RE; Pneumatic Fittings
Walter, I recently posted the Yak hose listing with all the fitting sizes. The Russian aviation fittings are not the same AN or standard metric. The Russian flair is 40 deg., but close enough to 37 deg to make it work in some cases. We offer a complete set of fittings for the M14P that go to western AN fittings. We have in the past cut the Russian threaded part off and welded on AN threaded parts of the fittings to make a complete conversion. We also have new Russian hose materials and offer a service where your hose sets and we replace the rubber. George Coy . Someone please correct me if that is not so. The following is based on that assumption. The flare angle is the aviation standard of 37 degs. which is also true of all AN and MS hardware for =9Cflare type=9D tube fittings (there is also an MS compression type). If tube/pipe (rather than tube/tube) the pipe thread is universal. On the small 6 mm tube fitting it is 1/8=9D pipe thread. The same as AN, MS and SAE fittings. The tube end thread is metric but, like SAE thread, there are coarse, fine and very fine variants. The Chinese utilized Russian thread standards (why I assume the CJ and Yak are the same in this area). But I believe that Russia (and Eastern Europe?) used a different thread pitch for this purpose than Western Europe. It is possible to mix and match fittings, tubing and =9CB=9D nuts (with varying degree of complexity) utilizing AN and Chinese/Russian in the 6 and 8 mm tube sizes. Not too likely in the 10 and 14 mm sizes. It is quite possible that some Yak/CJ owners have used SAE fittings rather than AN standard assuming they are physically the same due same thread on both ends. Where SAE differs is the tube flare. It is 45 degs. (90 degs in SAE parlance) NOT the aviation standard of 37 degs. Hope that helps a bit. Then I found a company that sold metric fittings so I grabbed a couple Yak 52 fitting's and presented the Yak 52 fitting's to this dealer and found that the metric threads are NOT standard and the matting surface is also not standard I think it was 5 or 10 degrees from standard. He did mention that fittings could be machined with a minimum order of 100 at $45.00 each and I think there are 15 to 20 different fittings. Long story short sure would be nice to order up a complete set of hoses at a reasonable price but I found this unlikely send your hoses to Jill. 1. Not a YAK-LIST topic. 2. It is illegal in most countries, including the U.S. 3. This is a PUBLIC SITE and what you say here can be used against you. Enough said. -----Original Message----- From: owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Hans Oortman Sent: Friday, November 13, 2015 5:26 AM Subject: [Non-DoD Source] Re: Yak-List: wifi signal Both Wifi and Bluetooth are in the same 2.4Ghz band, i.e, a jammer will also overpower a Bluetooth signal. George; Maybe you should read my post again. I (clearly, I thought) described the differences between AN and Russian/Chinese tube fittings which in fact is only the thread attaching the =9CB=9D nut. I did indicate that I am not specifically familiar with the Yak 52 which was the aircraft of concern for the original poster. However I can very positively assure you that the Russian Standard tube flare angle for Pneumatic, Fuel and Oil system tubing and fittings is exactly 37.5 degs. (included angle of 75 degs.) and this is precisely the same as the Chinese and Polish aircraft standard. It is also precisely the same flare angle as the AN standard. (I dropped the .5 for simplicity in my post) Perhaps you are comparing your fittings to hardware store (non-aviation) SAE fittings which are 45 (90) degs. Suggest you do an actual measurement of the angle for your own enlightenment. Walt From: George S.
