    Subject: CJ low fuel lights
    From: "av8ter" <keithmckinley@yahoo.com>
I was checking the operation of the low fuel lights today and the right side did not illuminate with under 10 liters of fuel showing on the gauge. I pulled the sending unit and had someone slowly move it from stop to stop. while I observed the needle on the fuel quantity indicator. The high stop put it a tad above 60 liters, the low stop on zero. At just about zero the light illuminated. Pulled the opposite sender did the same thing and got the same results on the gauge, but the light illuminated correctly at about 12 liters Looking at the schematic it seems there is a separate switch in the sending unit for the low fuel indication which is an on-off vs a rheostat type. (pins 3&4) Does anyone know if the low fuel switch can be adjusted independently? The only thing I did not do was totally drain the fuel and the put in known quantities while checking the fuel quantity indicator....
