Dennis made kits up and sold them using 8mm Taylor wire. I used on of his kits on my first M-14p installation, modified with a Delrin end plate of my own manufacture, and I switched to NGK spark plugs. Since then, I have used the Red MSD 8.5mm wire with a larger core wire than the Taylor 8mm, with a gray boot and an aluminum end plate. This is what I use for the electronic magneto conversion. For flat engine conversions, I use the Red "Pro Boot" due to higher heat for the top plugs under fiberglass cowls. This is what LightSpeed does. In all circumstances, careful installation is a must to insure good connections. The results are easier starting and smoother running. Nothing fancy just a web site that works. We reworked the site with the thought in mind that most of you use a tablet or smart phones while working on your aircraft. The new format will allow you to order parts from your hanger or shop via your phone instead of having to wait until you get back to your PC. Order the parts, update the cart, hit the send order button and your done, just that simple. We receive your order in email form and will respond with pricing the same day. The search engine which we are using makes it very easy for you to find the parts you require without the hassle of looking up part numbers. If you do require parts books, all 5 volumes are there on the site for your convenience. We will also be posting schematics and drawings as they become available. Please feel free to let us know how the site works for you. Just seems more natural and no extra 'cos t' to have both links at the top and links on the main page go places. But when I click on any of those items and they are linked (do take you) to those pages.
