M462RF is rated for 315 hp at 2450 rpm. My HS6A is 285 hp at 2350 rpm. Both
engines have the same compression ratio of 6.2 and reduction ratio of 0.78
7. The supercharger gear ratios are very close at 8.82 and 8.77 respectivel
y. I am sure there are other differences between the 2 engine, but I wonder
if I run my HS6A up to 2450 rpm, shouldn't I get close to 315 hp?=C2-By
the way, my HS6A book says its max. permissible rpm is 2450 (in a dive with
MP no more than 500 mm Hg). What do you think?
