Hi Doug,
Thank you for the information/advice on oil for the Nanchang, I appreciate
you sharing your knowledge with me!
If you could send me information and/or share my contact information with
the individual seeking a Nanchang I would greatly appreciate it. As I
previously related, I am unfortunately in a position where the Nanchang is
no longer a viable option for flying with my wife (Alzheimers sucks!). We
need to sell the Nanchang so we can purchase an aircraft without tandem
seating.
Thanks as always for your support!

Thanks Mark & Walt & Michael Ali-Paz
Both these bulbs cost approximately the same as an original Russian bulb, yes,
very expensive for a light bulb!
However, looks like these are single mode bulbs, you can order as landing or as
taxi light, but not a combined one with two modes.
I will first try to pursue the other suggestion on this list, go to a tractor supply
shop and see if they have an equivalent 2 filament lamp. I assume this
needs to be a tractor shop in the US, I'm in France and don't know if they have
tractor shops here??
If I find it, I'll let you know.
Thanks

He does. The oil pressure line comes off the base of the oil pump and goes directly
back to the sending unit on the center of the of the lower fire wall.

center of the oil tank to the engine. Is that another return line? I know
the line that comes off the aircraft left side about half way up to the screen
down at the bottom aircraft right on the firewall then goes to the pump but
for the life of me I can't figure out what the line out of the bottom center
does. Unfortunately I am not near the plane to look at it and try to figure it
out and was hoping someone much smarter than I OM this list could enlighten me.

Hi Michael,
I also live in France and fly a Yak 52. For sure, there are shops/dealers
for tractors in our beautiful country.
By the way, few days ago, I saw a Yak 18 at Bruno Ducreux's workshop in
Darois. Was it yours?
Best regards,
