Sorry guys.=C2- I do not mean the oil dilution line which comes from the fuel pump and goes into the oil dilution valve which is, as Doc says, on th e center of the lower fire wall.=C2- The small, flexible line that goes d irectly under the oil tank and LOOKS like it attaches to the oil tank, actu ally attaches to a firewall fitting right under the oil tank.=C2- The two oil pressure transducers are on the back side of the firewall where that s mall, flexible oil line attaches to the firewall.=C2- That is the oil pre ssure line that comes FROM the oil pump which is what I believe Doc was ref erring to.=C2- The fuel dilution valve passes fuel through it.=C2- Not oil. =C2- If one were to follow the output line from the oil dilution val ve (look at the arrow on the oil dilution valve), yes it does go to the oil pump.=C2- But is on the other side of the oil pump.=C2- This is where fuel is pumped into the oil pump to dilute the oil.=C2-=C2- Many people have disabled the fuel dilution toggle switch in the cockpit or simply don 't use this function.Dennis From: Roger Kemp <f16viperdoc@me.com> To: yak-list@matronics.com Sent: Monday, July 25, 2016 10:22 PM Subject: Re: Yak-List: Dumb oil line question He does. Hi Havard; Meant to send you some numbers yesterday but not sure which aircraft you have and did not want to give you wrong info. So; will assume you have a YAK 52 with the M14P and the stock V530 prop. The counterweight/clamp assembly for all variants of this hub consists of two parts. One is the actual weight the other is the arm to which the weight is attached. In earlier versions of this hub (CJ6, Wiiga, etc.) the weight is attached by a 10mm bolt with a 17mm (wrench size) nut and is referred to as the counterweight bolt. On the M14P the weight appears permanently attached to the arm with no bolt. If my assumption is correct then you are referring to the =9Cclamp bolt=9D which also takes a 17mm wrench. The torque value for this bolt is given as 78 to 88 NM (680 to 780 Lb/In.) for the Chinese and Polish props. Caution Note: I would expect this to be the same for the M14P version but cannot confirm that. Perhaps George Coy could advise further. You could fit various lamps, the diameter is 160mm I believe, but you have to check this. We had a standard H 4 there but as we dont need a taxi light at all I have fitted a HID bulb in a search light lamp for anti collision purpose permanently on. Unfortunately it is mounted too dipped to be really effective at that so I will have to go at it once more. Our inspectors dont care much about it, so far, certified or not.
