I don't know where to find a Yak 50 maintenance manual. I'll ask the local
crew in Phoenix. Does anyone know where one can find a Yak 55M maintenance
manual? Nobody seems to have one. Also, I'm seeking Yak 55M weight and
balance data.
Thank you!

I am thinking about doing a major upgrade to my CJ. It's one of the 2001 airframes
and has about 350 hours on the airframe and stock 285 engine. I also have
a 1960's era CJ (owned by a friend of mine) with a 900 hour engine that needs
some love.
I'm thinking about upgrading mine to an M14 and modernizing the panels. I'd move
my engine over to the other CJ and then have a 900 engine for either spares
or to send to overhaul.
Having said that, who is doing conversions these days, what do they run (engine
+ installation)?
Also, what's on the wishlist for avionics, etc? I'm thinking an EDM-900 + either
Garmin or Avidyne glass up front. While budget is important, what goodies
would you install if you were starting with a clean slate?
What about M14 prop options (price and performance).

G3X and there are several 9 cyl engine monitors now.
Bill Blackwell out of DVT does the conversion.
