Thanks to yak-list replies I have a source for those parts. It is the
Yak-52 I'm looking to build a pedal mod for, may not fit any other model
without clearance issues. Not everyone needs more leg room but I do.
Hopefully I'll begin building a number of useful items for the Yak such as
I have done with the Nanchang. When I have new offerings I'll post them.

On the M-14 fuel pump there is a small vent hole for the regulator on the bottom
part as you look at it. I really need a picture here to point at, but in any
case, if this gets blocked with bugs, garbage, etc., it can cause erratic fuel
pressure as you change altitude. Happened to me. A piece of .032 safety
wire (gently) will fix it.

Fuel press. operating range 0.2 to 0.5 Kg./ sq. cm. (approx. 3 to 7 psi).
Min. idle 1.5 (2 psi)
These are Huosai numbers which I believe are the same for the M14 but can't confirm
at this moment.
0.2 Kg/sq. cm. is actually just slightly under 3 psi and is indeed low for a high
power setting. I assume you mean 80% at 800 mm/hg rather than 80?
I would expect to see about 3.5 (5 psi) for cruise and above.
Very easy to adjust press. relief valve but first ensure there is no
evidence of leakage. Unless the pump is very high time (high wear) should
take only
a small adjustment to correct. Worth checking the relief valve spring
condition for possible corrosion damage.

At 80% rpm and 80 mp, what should the fuel pressure be? Mine is at the bottom
of the green arc at about .2? It seems like it used to be higher?
Any one know about this?

I have a set of Yak 52 pedals front and rear. Also, I have rudder pedal
extensions that will work on the yaks as well

Looking to buy or borrow rudder pedal parts from a Yak-52 carcass. I'm
designing a mod to increase leg room a bit.
Off-List please.

Yes, I know it has been done before...but not my way. I calculate 1.6"
improvement. I'm also looking to make an adjustable seat mod. I just need a Yak-52
"mule" near Lakeland.
