Are you using air for the starter? Some seem to have trouble starting on nit rogen, although I never had a problem. Next I would take a look at the start vibrator or shower of sparks lead in the mag. Those go bad, it is an easy f ix. It was running, so I would guess the timing is good.. Good luck Phil Sent from my iPad > On Oct 18, 2016, at 8:52 AM, jlpartington@reagan.com wrote: > > My cell phone note was less than clear. > > I picked up a running CJ motor that had been converted to auto plugs (my f irst with that mod) > > Unfortunately, life interrupted the process and I let the motor sit for se veral months before I tried to start it.re-stabbed the mags and timed them. Copy. Then as Dennis said time to adjust the micro switch or replace it. You have done a wiring continuity check? I don't think it's a wiring issue since he was able to lock the gear in the UP position by putting negative G on the airplane.=C2- 'Anything is poss ible though.=C2- I believe he said the lamp would flicker on and off, which led me to believ e it was a microswitch engagement adjustment.Dennis From: Roger Kemp <f16viperdoc@me.com> To: yak-list@matronics.com Sent: Tuesday, October 18, 2016 4:28 PM Subject: Re: Yak-List: Re: Yak 52TW Uplock Sensors Copy.
