Out of interest what CHT are you guys shooting for during cruise flight, anywhere
in the green???
Regardless I have my shutters fully open on takeoff and landing.

I try to cruise at 175C and shutdown at 150C

High end of green in the winter for better cabin heat (in a YAK). Mid to
lower green to help keep oil temp down in summer.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Festivus for the rest of us.
I plan on painting my chipped, beat up, Yak 52 interior next week, what is a good
paint to use? I used Imron on an earlier Yak cockpit with great results. Setting
up and using the breathing equipment was the main drawback.
