170 is a good temp. Chinese even say 190. Wait till at least 150 before
takeoff otherwise the engine can cough and sputter. Don't let it get too
cool on landing in case of a go-around but definitely full open after
landing assured so it will cool down before shutdown. 165 above 25C and 150
below 25C on shutdown.
