    Doc, Thanks for the input. I'm building a whole new panel anyway, so not so worried about the fact that they fit in the existing cutouts. I've already got the whole wire harness out of the airplane (this thing had a flight data recorder!) and am starting from scratch, including B&C lightweight alternator and regulator. Being the kind of guy that can't stand wires just being bundled up in the instrument panel, I kind of had to start over. While in there, might as well upgrade to something lighter/better!
