About a year ago I serviced the nosewheel strut completely, replacing the old fluid. At the time I couldn't find anyone that knew what the pressure was supposed to be but several folks said unlike other aircraft, you want the strut to be fully extended normally but be able to pull it down by hand by pulling on the prop. I believe I may have lost some pressure which is causing issues with the over center cam, does anyone here know the proper number? > > > > > > > > > > Read this topic online here: > > > > http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=465760#465760 (http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=465760#465760) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > =================================== > > List" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://www.matronics.com/Navigator?Yak-List > > =================================== > > FORUMS - > > eferrer" target="_blank">http://forums.matronics.com > > =================================== > > WIKI - > > errer" target="_blank">http://wiki.matronics.com > > =================================== > > b Site - > > -Matt Dralle, List Admin. > > rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://www.matronics.com/contribution > > =================================== > > > > > > > > > Yes it will do that. Once tracking straight it pulls slightly one way or the other and requires a tap of brakes to get it back. Which isn't a big deal but often at a tight turn it will over center and I have to either do a 360 to get it back or shut down and get out and pull the tail down.
