So I recharged it with the prescribed 294 psi of n itrogen, but noticed a couple of days later that it was bobbing somewhat aga in. Now I've never had the strut's seals replaced in the 16 years I've owned the plane because it wasn't necessary. Have any of you bright fellows undertake n this task, and if so, what is the process? To be more precise, what is the process a qualified person, not I, would undertake? It just might be cheaper, faster, better to replace than to repair especially if your bushings and scissors are worn and getting loose. Complete new nose gear, less wheel, axle and damper, but with forks is $1650.00 exchange. I love you too. ....No, I mean it. =F0=9F=98=89 BTW, Jim Selby mentioned some stuff he saw an ad for that you pour into the s trut to soften old seals. Kinda like the leak-stop goop we used to pour into a leaky radiator. Anybody used this?
