Subject: | DAR inspector and requirements |
Hi,
I'm getting close to needing my CJ6A inspected and approved for Phase 1, after
assembling from crate... can anyone advise as to a DAR near the Denver area?
And, is there a nice document somewhere listing all the required placards, etc.,
so I can pass the inspection first time. :)
Thanks everyone,
Stephen

Steve
I'm sure your FSDO has the contact info for a DAR in your area. If they're not
too busy you might get an inspector to come and save yourself the charge for a
DAR.
Any of the shops who regularly work on these aircraft like Doug Sapp, George Coy
or Jill can certainly help guide you on the paperwork.
Good luck.

I'm rinsing my main air tank.
I have glycerin from Doug, but how much of that and how much alcohol and what kind
of alcohol goes in? Mixed together or just put them in and let them work it
out?
Also, put a little tool oil in the main tank or no?
Thanks,
Jon

Whats good about glycerin when you expect to get water in the tank ?? That will
be washed away soon and be gone. You want rust protection, no ? We use real sticky
chain lube from spray cans, let the thinner in it dry before assembly and
no rust for years.
