Fellow Red Stars, =C2- As April looms Sun-N-Fun is just around the corner, so we in the South East Region of the RPA would like to host all RPA members at the RPA Headquarte rs AKA =9CPirate=99s Lounge Bar and Grill RV=9D on the Wa rbird Ramp at Lakeland. Bill and Kim Mills (AKA =9CPirate=9D an d =9CHeels=9D) have graciously offered to once again (5 years r unning) open their space up as the =9Cadmin=9D spot and hangout and HQ for the RPA. =C2- This year the Mills are expanding logistics with tents, briefing boards, mo re tables and seating and adding an =9Cevent grill=9D which is not like the grill on your back porch. Pirate said the bar will be stocked as usual and is planning a Red Star cookout Thursday evening that includes steak and all the fixin=99s with libations included all for a small d onation. He said =9CThe space IS for the Redstars. After hours gather ing is open every night for anyone to hang out and have a couple cocktails. I WANT this to be THE Red Star hangout! That=99s why we do it, to be with our Friends!!!!=9D =C2- As part of the =9CSun 40 Sprint,=9D Craig Payne organized a no- host dinner Wednesday evening on the Sun-N-Fun campus starting at 1800. Hap py hour starts at 17:30 and it=99s BYOB, but Craig always chips in a case or so to get us started. The dinner is $15 per plate and you need to p urchase them prior to the event at the below website, so order early. All a re welcome! https://17021.blackbaudhosting.com/17021/tickets?tab=3&txobji d=9a145ab6-d877-4133-861d-03bda669f446 =C2- Here is the link to pre-register your warbird type aircraft for Sun 'n Fun: http://www.flysnf.org/sun-n-fun-intl-fly-in-expo/warbird-arrivals/ ( Hint : When entering your phone number use this format 1234567890 no dashes, dot s or parenthesis =C2- Link for the warbird activities: http://www.flysnf.org/sun-n-fun-intl-fly-i n-expo/warbird-arrivals/warbird-activities/ =C2- The link to the SNF NOTAM. So, RSVP ASAP please. =C2- Saber =C2- P.S. Here=99s the rough schedule for Pirate=99s RV aka RPA HQ: Sunday: Arrive and set up, position the Jet! (Pirate=99s jet team is performing this year!) I use the approach commuter switch located on the glareshield panel :) but the best solution is to insert a new switch on the upper side of throttle [Twisted Evil] -------- Tigerbabaluba from Portugal Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=467504#467504

Hello- for arming the 24 v pump I used an un-used switch on the main switch panel. Have a radio shack push once for on, push again for off rigged into the old ICS portion of the throttle for a little "HOTAS". Included a relay mounted behind seat to cushion it all electrically and have a green light u nder the glare shield when activated to give me a visual cue. I like the se t up but lots of ways to skin a cat. Thanks to electrical wizard Chris Dill ey for his design. See pics below.
