Hi Walt My current engine crankcase developed a crack. I have an spare engine that i can replace it with that had a prop strike with a hanger door. I have been told that I can use that engine but would just feel better if I replace the gearbox Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=471675#471675

I have not checked these manuals page by page, so no guarantee - as is - where is.

My strong advice is that the gearbox should be shock-load tested after anything more than a very moderate ground-strike and this is particularly true with the metal propeller.
