Take a good look at the PTT button before you go much further. I've had at least three fail. kp -----Original Message----- From: owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Walter Lannon Sent: 12 September 2017 17:16 Subject: Re: Yak-List: Baklan won't transmit Try a different mic. before you trash the radio. -----Original Message----- From: Yak Driver Sent: Tuesday, September 12, 2017 3:58 AM Subject: Yak-List: Baklan won't transmit Hi Yakkers, I have the original baklan radio in my Yak 18T - series II. I can hear other aircraft, the intercom works fine but when I try and transmit via the PTT switch no one can hear me. It drops a carrier wave but there is no audible transmission coming through. It is the same on both sides. Has anyone had a similar fault? Thanks in advance. If he has carrier output, then his PTT button is working. -----Original Message----- From: owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Kevin Pilling Sent: Wednesday, September 13, 2017 6:15 AM Subject: [Non-DoD Source] RE: Yak-List: Baklan won't transmit Take a good look at the PTT button before you go much further.
