Here, on the other side of the Atlantic, in the "old world", we have different
rules. Before I consider the installation of such dessicant filter, my YAK
52 being registered in UK, I have first to ask to my Welsh workshop whether
it is approved by the CAA UK.

We are operating a Yak52 in the UK so would be very interested if anyone has been
able to get the desiccant filter approved as a mod.It would be good to be able
to open the snot valve from the cockpit to unload the compressor also. Lubricant
for the pneumatics should be a silicon oil also not glycerine and alchohol
which i understand was used in the soviet union when the original spec was
unavailable.
Best Wishes Pat
