Subject: | Certification Categories |
The categories I'm familiar with within the Standard are:
*Normal*, good for maneuvers up to +3.8/-1.52
*Utility*, +4.4/-1.76
*Acrobatic*, +6.0/-3.0
That would put the CJ-6 in the Acrobatic category at 3086 lbs, more for the
Utility and forget about the Normal since it is the maneuvering and speed
loads that dictate the the ratings described in 23.3. Thus operating a CJ-6
at weights above 3086 requires lower G loads to stay in the "envelope".

I recently started having static interference in my King radio, after installing
Denniss auto harness. After about 6 months static free, static has started sometimes
in the air, but continuously on the ground. I am assuming it is the generator,
as the noise increases and decreases with RPM. Its strange that in the
air it only happens sometimes, not consistent.
Ive heard others have had this issue in the past and want to know what resistor
they used on the mags to resolve it. No sense trying to figure out if there is
already a solution.
Your help is appreciated!

The said company has lift systems as one of their specialties, but most of these are for automation or motion control; however, they also offer metal machining services which, I think, you can leverage to get a jack made for you according to your desired measurement.
