Well, I could not find out details of all electronics related to stall warning or any other sound alarms that go into the intercom. But one (of several?) box sits on the bottom of the fuselage roughly below the emergency air tank, silver painted. There is some small electronic elements inside that do various jobs, but I cannot tell what exactly . I replaced that with some other alarm electronics I found in Ebay to send the stall warning alarm. This silver box has connections to the stall sensor at the wing and good luck to get all that working. Vic Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=477178#477178

Thanks everyone for the replies, and that is indeed the area where my hissing is coming from. I'll check it out and get a rebuild kit! FYI, this is for a YAK 52. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=477182#477182
