Subject: Yak-List: Starting coil wire
Hello
I cannot start the engine and I have checked the wire between the Starting
coil and the left magneto, as Dennis explained in others messages.
The end of the wire seems to be burned. I have checked the continuity and it
is ok but not touching the spring.
Could you give me any advice? Is it possible to buy a new one wire complete?
the spring must be replaced?

| Subject: | Yak-52 Intercom adjustment |
Hello All,
The intercom and radio in our Yak-52 is a little quiet and hard to hear in the
back seat of out Yak-52 even with the volume all the way up. It has been modified
(like most I guess) to have the western GA type plugs but still retains the
original SPU-9 intercom, Baklan radio etc. We have tried multiple headsets
and they are all the same.
Is there an adjustment somewhere in the guts of the intercom I can tweak?
