Try different combinations of the two toggle switches.=C2- It's been quit e awhile since I played around with them, but if I remember correctly, both up or both down provided the best audio.=C2- But as I said, try the comb inations of up and down and see if the audio improves.Dennis From: Looigi <cdoburton@gmail.com> To: yak-list@matronics.com Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2018 11:01 PM Subject: Yak-List: Yak-52 Intercom adjustment Hello All, The intercom and radio in our Yak-52 is a little quiet and hard to hear in the back seat of out Yak-52 even with the volume all the way up.=C2- It h as been modified (like most I guess) to have the western GA type plugs but still retains the original SPU-9 intercom, Baklan radio etc.=C2- We have tried multiple headsets and they are all the same. Chris, I see you stated you've tried different headsets. When I first started flyi ng my Yak, my GIB had a really nice BOSE headset that (I'm guessing) affect ed the impedance of the system, because my intercom was marginal until she switched headsets - then it was loud and proud. We only stumbled on that by accident when she would not have her gear on hand for flying. Mark Bitterlich (Yak 50 owner / pilot - usually monitoring the Yak-list) wo uld be a rich & reliable source of info for all things electrical / radio. Good luck! The end of the wire seems to be burned. I have checked the continuity and it is ok but not touching the spring. Could you give me any advice? Is it possible to buy a new one wire complete? the spring must be replaced? Best regards Jes=FAs Sagastuy EC-IAQ
