I think the thing is that most governing bodies determine that ANY 'pressure body'
requires hydrostatic test regardless of material or substance in the body...
makes sense to me...

I can only quote the mfg. But that being said I learned a long time ago
that what might makes sense to me is often not the case with the various
regulatory agencies.

Guys, I believe it is an ICC (interstate commerce commission?) rule for
any pressure vessel. I believe there are other possible causes of
failure besides corrosion. (Stress related due to many times filling and
emptying the vessel comes to mind).

Wanted to see if any of you may be interested in the 0 hours since overhaul
MT 3-blade MTV-9-K-C/CL248-63 elliptical 'Focke-Wulf' style propeller my
co-owner and I are selling
The prop was manufactured in 2006 and has just returned from the MT factory
in Germany with 0 hours since a complete overhaul of the hub, blades and
leading edges. This is as close to a new prop as you can get! The prop is
now located at MT in Florida - buyer pays shipping. Asking $9,250.
