    That is true, but they probably should have! The AK14P carburettor fit into the M 14 engines is actually not very susceptible to icing but it certainly does =93 the symptom being that the throttle becomes increasingly stiff and in the end simply won't move. We had a Yak 55 crash on finals a few years ago when the pilot realised that he was too low; attempted to open the throttle but it was jammed solid!
