If your referring to The Brackett Air filter sock, it slips over the metal
carb intake screen. If it gets oil on it, the glue they use to Sean it
together breaks down. The filters for the CJ are NOT on their website but
you can call and order from them.
Check with them but they say you will have a little power loss due to the
additional filtration. I took mine off for the summer months because I need
all the power I can get coming off a shorter grass strip. Yes I know, I'm
operating off grass and don't use it. What can I say. Somehow the trees at
the end are more of a concern.

Thanks Greg.
Yeah actually just found a bit more about it deeper into the articles on his website.
I didnt know if was a replacement filter more inline with something like
a K&N style or not, but you mentioned it was a slip-over sock then Ill proably
pass on that for the reason you mentioned.
