I would also add the following:
If you are solo and getting fed up of jumping up and down on and off the wing,
prime 3, pull 3, prime 3, pull 3 also works.
Also (Housai ONLY!!!!!):
If you know your engine and have a decent amount of air pressure (30+), prime it
as you turn it over. I do two shots initially, set the throttle, set the mags
(which is why you can't do it on the M14P) and prime one shot per blade until
it catches (usually four).
