Seems like every single owner has a different starting technique. :D
So yesterday I finalized the purchase of the CJ 6.
I asked the owner how to start it.
Here is the procedure.
Turn 12 blades (intake release valve open).
Close intake release valve.
Air on
fuel pump twice, primmer once.
Repeat until 8 shots of primming achieved.
Move throttle forward and back a couple of times.
Mags ON
Start
It did start first time easily.
Does anyone knows what the airplane manual procedure states for starts?
