Currently based at a 5,000ft airport but will move to a 2800ft 22ft wide airport. So practicing to be precise . Lenght wise wont be a problem, was getting off at the 1200ft taxiway, but 22ft it is narrow so trying to minimize the flare. Any tips on narrow strips are welcomed.(crosswinds will be very challenging so I will need to pick my days.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pjxVFZUy4c -------- www.Backcuountry182.com Cessna 182 P CJ -6 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=485010#485010 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 02:15:02 PM PST US Subject: Yak-List: Re: Short field landing practice From: "HawkerPilot2015" check the spelling on your link Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=485022#485022 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 02:24:06 PM PST US Subject: Yak-List: Re: Short field landing practice From: "motoadve" HawkerPilot2015 wrote: > check the spelling on your link Good catch, thank you. -------- www.Backcuountry182.com Cessna 182 P CJ -6 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=485023#485023 ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 03:57:00 PM PST US From: "Mark Davis" Subject: RE: Yak-List: Short field landing practice I fly my YAK out of a narrow runway. The runway disappears in the flare. If you can't see the runway on either side you're pretty close to center. If you can see the runway you need to fly toward it pronto! From your video it appears that you have a good centerline. Pick a half and land on it.
