I know from personal experience the diaphragms are NOT interchangeable. Dennis A. From: "bmsim" <bmsim@hotmail.com>
Hello Everyone! In searching for an air leak and rebuilding a couple of things already, I found something I have a question about. Whenever I open the snot valve, air blows out. This is regardless of if the engine has ran or not, if I dump it and let it sit for 10 min, I can open the valve and it has pressure. Is that normal, or might I be leaking air there? Check valve (s) on the PRV are most likely leaking. No, that is not normal. You have a check valve leaking. Dennis A. From: "Off2wildblue" <Off2wildblue@me.com>
My CJ arrived from Las Vegas to its new home in Gainesville, Georgia. It took two days for the ferry pilot to make it here. We were able to get the wings pulled and the CJ to my workshop within 24 hours. Now well paint it and go through it and make sure its ready to go. Now the work and learning really begins. I dont know anything about the airplane or how to fly it but I am willing to learn all I can. Here are some pics that show it on the trailer. Sorry if the pics are huge. Ill have to figure that out. or engine OH is a must? I presume you mean can the link rod be replaced. Yes, but it is not fun. If it is a high time engine, you should consider overhaul. or engine OH is a must? I have a friend looking to buy a damaged motor if you are interested in selling it. I also have a new motor which will be finishing up assembly at Aerometal if anyone is interested.
