Subject: What's My Contribution Used For?
Dear Listers, Some have asked, "What's my Contribution used for?" and that's a good question. Here are just a few examples of what your direct List support enables. It provides for the very expensive, commercial-grade Internet connection used on the List insuring maximum performance and minimal contention when accessing List services. It pays for the regular system hardware and software upgrades enabling the highest performance possible for services such as the Archive Search Engine, List Browser, and Forums. It pays for narly 30 years (yeah, I really said *30* years) worth of online archive data available for instant random search and access. And, it offsets the many hours spent writing, developing, and maintaining the custom applications that power this List Service such as the List Browse, Search Engine, Forums, and Wiki. But most importantly, your List Contribution enables a forum where you and your peers can communicate freely in an environment that is free from moderation, censorship, advertising, commercialism, SPAM, and computer viruses. How many places on the Internet can you make all those statements these days? It is YOUR CONTRIBUTION that directly enables these many aspects of these valuable List services. Please support it today with your List Contribution. Its one of the best investments you can make in your Sport... List Contribution Web Site: http://www.matronics.com/contribution or by dropping a personal check in the mail to: Matt Dralle / Matronics 581 Jeannie Way Livermore CA 94550 Thank you for your support! Hey Larry, My 2-cents: one engine tool that I consider absolutely required for a Housai with original-type sparkplugs, is a Chinese sparkplug removal wrench. They are unique to the Chinese sparkplugs, and VERY handy. I'm sure Doug Sapp has them? Justin, That is the #6 spark plug wrench, it is special built to fit into the tight space on #6 cylinder. In stock, inquire off list if interested. The plug is a 22mm hex head. No big deal if you use a deep 22mm socket. Personally & take it for what y'all will, I use a deep socket on 17 out of the 18 plugs, and the specific tool Doug mentioned for that pesky aft one on #6 cyl. I've never heard if an all-inclusive kit for the Housai (outside of the PLAAF). Best to gather individual tools for the tasks at hand. The standard 7/8=9D plug socket is also acceptable. 0.009=9D l arger than 22mm but OK provided you torque within allowable limit for 14 mm plugs of 240 to 260 lb/in. Never exceed 300 lb/in and always use new or annealed washers Walt From: Anthony Savarese Sent: Tuesday, November 27, 2018 4:28 PM Subject: Re: Yak-List: Where can I buy engine tool kit for Housai?
