What aircraft type?????? -----Original Message----- From: lesknox Sent: Friday, December 07, 2018 9:52 PM Subject: Yak-List: Old air system modification. An aircraft I have an interest in appears to have the early version of the air system. Notably, the pressure regulator valve, filter and NRV tree is behind the rear seat. Originally, I believe, there was an isolation valve immediately downstream of the water drain on the engine side of the firewall. This is not there now. On the cockpit side of the firewall there is a line that runs from the start valve to the EDP supply line that runs back to the tree. A NRV is incorporated in this line. Im thinking of removing this line. Has anyone done this or is aware of any issues associated with its removal? NRV = Check Valve ? Well, yes and no! NRV means Check Valve, non-return. Not, for example Check Valve, restricted flow, etc. -----Original Message----- From: Bill Lang Sent: Friday, December 07, 2018 11:35 PM Subject: Re: Yak-List: Old air system modification.
