Hi,
I know several folks went to China recently and visited the CJ factory. I'd appreciate
learning what you found out about the plane, spares, and in particular
engine availability.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post regarding our CJ's airplane-right side
middle exhaust section for our Housai engine that needed to be replaced.
We were able to source a new-old-stock replacement and we are now back operational.
The most time consuming part of the whole episode (other than finding the
part) was removing the dried cosmoline and paper from the exhaust segment

Warren,
Thanks for the excellent response to my question about LED lights. I was wondering
which light do you use for the landing light in the wing? Did you put something
down for that or were they just the interior lights and the exterior lights
position and beacon lights?

The group is putting together some China trip information articles and will
present them to the Red Alert magazine publisher for inclusion in the
RedStar Pilots Association magazine for all to read. Stay tuned....

here and flog the airplane near the airport on the next few aerobatic sessions.

I am trying to locate a study guide that is used for an initial check out for CJ.
I found one that the previous owner had in a binder but it was for the previously
installed 286hp motor. It now has an M14B motor. Does anyone have any information
which includes the M14B or P?
