From: "motoadve" Is there another option than chinese spark plugs that fit right in? I know Champion makes a fine wire one (very expensive at $58 each) and needs an adaptor to fit. How about non fine wire Tempest or Champion? -------- www.Backcountry182.com Cessna 182 P CJ -6 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=487659#487659 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 08:30:17 AM PST US From: "A. When China built their 400hp Housai motor, it had a splined shaft and needed a bigger prop than the 2-blade so they designed and built the JL-2A, a three blade metal prop that fitted on a splined shaft. Rich Hess had this setup in his CJ. At that time, Joe Howse of Victoria Air Service in Canada asked the factory to design a version of that prop that would go on the more readily available m-14p. The Chinese factory came up with the JL-2B which is the version with a flanged shaft. That is what I have and what you see in this post. The blades have the coarse thread as typical on a Chinese prop BUT they have a reverse thread so are not useable on a standard Housai hub! Rather than re-tap the nuts, I simply used the correct sized screws rather than t he screws that came with the ADSB units. I believe they were M3 sized. Tell them it is a fuel line for your Russian tractor. They can easily remake them. They can add fire sleeves too.
