They turned out OK and served the purpose of resisting tool damage. One of the problems with it was the inability to produce the exact color that I wanted. However I live in a small town and you may have access to a more proficient operator. One caution note: If you are planning to powder coat heat treated aluminum alloy, which is basically the entire aircraft, you need to have a discussion with them re the temperatures in use, what the effects are and their ability to re-heat treat and re-certify if that is in order. I don't know the precise answer but I can tell you that al. alloy annealing begins at just over 150*F though at that temp. it may take a month or more to show a detectable loss of strength.
