Pappy, is there any issue in changing from multi grade to the Aeroshell 100p plus?
I thought I had read that changing from one to the other could cause flaking
of particulates in the engine etc.
Thanks,
Gil

of trying this.
Thanks

I wrapped my joints with 0.015 SS Shim Tape. Need to put about four laps aro
und the joint then apply the exhaust clamp.

Snaz,
See the link attached. That what I used, and it worked great.
It=99s compressible and will =98give=99 and seal well.
I used the 1=9D width version of this.

We still keep this fiberglass seal, no better idea so far. But when you have to
take off the exhaust you need a fresh length of fiber of course because a well
used seal ages and disintegrates when undoing. But cheap enough and reasonably
tight. Take care to fit one layer of stainless under the fiber for protecting
it from fire.
