I thought I had read that changing from one to the other could cause flaking of particulates in the engine etc. Thanks, Gil Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=488067#488067 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 01:27:13 PM PST US Subject: Yak-List: Re: Exhaust clamp seals From: "Snazpappy" Any follow up on how this wrap of fiberglass heat shield worked? But when you have to take off the exhaust you need a fresh length of fiber of course because a well used seal ages and disintegrates when undoing. But cheap enough and reasonably tight. Take care to fit one layer of stainless under the fiber for protecting it from fire.
