For your information the stock J9 Chinese alum. alloy blade weighs 19.5 to 20 lbs. or 8.8 to 9 Kgs. Since the CJ in civil use requires a considerable amount of nose up ballast the small addition that may be required is easily handled. It may well, in fact, be a negligible amount and of no consequence. To satisfy my curiosity; Are your blades built over a structural wood base, like MT or a plastic foam base?
