I need a quarter turn air Supply fitting that connects the air bottle to the airplane... Looks a little like an automobile fuel cap. Bill Tiley (Bounce 25) 520-245-9311 Sent from my iPhone

Going through the POH I noticed anew that the PLAAF recommends pulling the nose up sharply at ~50kts and doing a two point roll to take off. However, my F-18 pilot GIB tells me it makes no sense as there is less lift and more drag. Does anyone know what the POH rationale is?? Soft fields? Short fields, wear and tear on the nose wheel, looks cool?? :) Thanks, Phil Nicholson (Ottawa)

Yep sounds daft to me. I think you are taking the Chinglish to literally. I think the intent is to ease the load on the nose wheel by some back pressure. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=490785#490785
