      I've gone through nearly 200 gallons of X/C 25W-60 in the last 4 years. Seems good

       The gyros require power from inverters to power.=C2- The inverters=C2-
       "invert" 28 volts DC to 36 volts AC 400 hertz.=C2- There are two of them
       in the a/c.=C2- When you power up the inverters, the two gyros are suppo
      se to spin up.=C2- Assuming the two inverters have not been removed from 
      the a/c, they both need to be turned on for the two gyros to function.
      Many people remove the inverters when they install digital instruments.
