When u r flying and pull throttle to idle is there a warning? If u leave the gear up and lower full flaps, is there a warning? Those r the only options. Either way a micro switch. Not sophisticated enough for altitude warnings. > On Oct 25, 2019, at 7:06 PM, Brian Macey <bmacey916@gmail.com> wrote: > > =EF=BB > I too have one in my 52 TW and have wondered the same thing for the past 1 0 years? > >> On Thu, Oct 24, 2019 at 3:52 PM greg.barnhard@gmail.com <greg.barnhard@gm ail.com> wrote: gmail.com> >> >> Does anyone know what triggers the LANDING GEAR (red) warning annunciator on the annunciator panel? There must a micro switch somewhere.=C2- I put a gear warming on my CJ6 ( which has none) by put a micro switch on the rear cockpit throttle.=C2- I set and marked the position of the throttle at power setting I normally us e for approaches.=C2- I then mounted a micro switch on the copper casing so that it closed a circuit getting its power from the "UP" lights in the r ear cockpit.=C2- This lit up a red light on the front panel.=C2- You co uld put a flasher switch in the circuit so as to make the light flash as an attention get-er.=C2- Also a horn could be added.Jim "Pappy" Goolsby -----Original Message----- From: World Aviation Museum <wamflight@gmail.com> Sent: Sat, Oct 26, 2019 9:35 am Subject: Re: Yak-List: Landing gear warning annunciator When u r flying and pull throttle to idle is there a warning?
