Subject: | Re: Landing gear warning annunciator |
When u r flying and pull throttle to idle is there a warning? If u leave the
gear up and lower full flaps, is there a warning? Those r the only options.
Either way a micro switch. Not sophisticated enough for altitude warnings.

There must a micro switch somewhere.=C2- I put a gear warming on my CJ6 (
which has none) by put a micro switch on the rear cockpit throttle.=C2- I
set and marked the position of the throttle at power setting I normally us
e for approaches.=C2- I then mounted a micro switch on the copper casing
so that it closed a circuit getting its power from the "UP" lights in the r
ear cockpit.=C2- This lit up a red light on the front panel.=C2- You co
uld put a flasher switch in the circuit so as to make the light flash as an
attention get-er.=C2- Also a horn could be added.Jim "Pappy" Goolsby
