Huosai cam timing help needed

      Lets say hypothetically one got much deeper into a Huosai than one wanted to. 
      How would one ensure that the cam timing is correct during reassembly of the gearbox?
      Care would have been taken to ensure movement between the crankshaft
      and cam gear ring didn't occur.  There are some marks and holes that I'm guessing
      would be used to confirm timing but it would be nice to know for certain,
      you know, in case something like this were to happen. Hypothetical photos attached.
