Subject: | leaking fuel valve? |
Hi all,
Does anyone know where the 'fuel valve' is that goes into the carburettor on the
HS6A?
We are getting drips of fuel on shut down and have had advice that it is either
the membranes (we have installed a freshly overhauled carb this week, so it's
not that) or a 'leaking fuel valve that leads into the carburettor'.
Both the existing and overhauled carbs do the same thing - it was what prompted
me to overhaul the spare carb in the first place.
Thanks

To completely shut the fuel off, pull the Fire Control handle. Its in front of
the throttle and prop controls. It shuts the fuel off going into the fuel screen
on the firewall. From the fuel screen, the fuel goes into the fuel pump. From
the fuel pump into the carburetor.
Who overhauled the carburetor?
Dennis?
