Hello, George.
Another resource for finding info is the RedStar Pilots Facebook page. The bulk
of Yaklist guys have gone over to that forum, it seems. Matt has don e an awesome
job with this forum for many years, also.
Dave Jester in Pensacola has owned a TD for many years and would be a good resource
for information on it. Termikas built the TD forma stock Yak 52, so they
were each hand-built.
Parts are available but not plentiful, as the old days. My company has partnered
with another first class US company manufacture airframe parts. There is a
trend in our niche industry of new and independent manufacturing.
We overhaul and repair engines, components, props,etc.
Best of luck in your endeavor. If you do end up owning one of these fine aircraft,
you will join a very supportive community.
