There are a few task cards that mention oil being ejected through this breather
under certain circumstances such as engine overheating or improper valve clearance.

actually, breather tube connects channels between shaft seal rings with atmosphere
to let the blower breath a little bit of fresh air instead of sucking oil
out of the sum through that seal

i know people here in VA were offering something like Yak-54 ( if i'm not mistaken
) for far less than 52TW.
