Subject: Matronics List Fund Raiser Postponed During 2020...
Dear Listers, Normally, in November I hold a List Fund Raiser where I ask Listers to make a Contribution to support the operation and upkeep of these List resources. In light of the happenings during this 2020 season, I have decided to postpone the Fund Raiser this year and encourage members to focus on their families and personal needs. I want to thank everyone that has supported the Lists in the past. Despite the uncertain times we're experiencing right now, I want to assure everyone that I fully intend to continue supporting the Lists as I always have; with no anticipated degradation in service levels. Happy Holidays to all my friends around the world! Matt Dralle Matronics List Manager

Jay Here is a photo I saved of the snot valve with a swagelock valve. At the time the post did not give a part number. Maybe someone will recognize the valve and share the part number Mark N621 CJ On Sat, Oct 31, 2020 at 8:14 PM Warren Hill <hill@doctor-hill.com> wrote: > Both the Chinese adaptors and the Swagelok valves are =85=9B-27 NPT pi pe > thread. > > > On Oct 31, 2020, at 5:01 PM, William Geipel <wamflight@gmail.com> wrote: > > did you tap the new valve? size? > > > On Nov 1, 2020, at 8:53 AM, Warren Hill <k7wx@earthlink.net> wrote: > > Here is a picture of my CJ emergency on-off valve with adaptors that > duplicate the original line positions. Hello Mark, For the Yak-52, it's the Swagelok SS-43GM4-S4. For the CJ, a typical install requires a right angle adaptor and a different right angle Swagelok valve. If you need this part number I=99ll get it later today. Attached are some images. One additional item. If not already done. The bottom thread of the snot bottle will need to be tapped to accept the input side of the Swagelock valve, which I believe is =C2=BC-inch NPT. After completing the tap, be sure to completely wash out the many small metal fragments produced. It=99s helpful to do the tap a little less than you think is needed and then screw int the Swagelock valve until it is tight. If a =C2=BC to =C2=BD turn more is needed to properly align the value, run the tap just a little more. This way the final valve position will not end up at some odd angle. - - - - - - - - - - Hello Mark, For the Yak-52, it's the Swagelok SS-43GM4-S4.
