Please note this coupling is a fuse and the shear torque has to be 22 kgf-m or 159 lbf-ft. If pins with bigger diameter are installed then at overload this fuse will not protect the gears of the engine. We strongly recommend installing pins with maximum 3.5 millimeters on diameter. In order to do this it is sometimes necessary to make new holes in coupling, with the diameter between 3.5 and 3.518 millimeters (of course reamed holes). And of course the pins need to be of the right material which will shear when overloaded!
