I just replaced my back AI and mine had 4mm nut and washer combo from the previous owner as the plate wasn't the stock one. Anyway, I understand the desire to keep the look stock etc, but if you can't get these from Doug Sapp, then you might have to buy alternative ones from MacMaster-Carr. They have M4 cap nuts, but not sure of the depth of thread so you may have to add a couple flat washers to take up the thickness if they bottom out in the cap. Or just buy 4mm Nylok nuts and go that way. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=499821#499821
